Crispy Black Eye Peas

Crispy roasted beans or peas are easy to make and can be served as a crispy snack, topping, or vegan appetizer!


Ingredients

  • 1 can black-eyed peas, drained, rinsed, patted dry

  • 1-2 tablespoons oil

  • 1 teaspoon cumin

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • Pinch of salt



Steps

Place rinsed and dried beans on a baking/cooking sheet.

  1. Drizzle with oil.

  2. Add seasonings and gently mix. 

  3. Roast in the oven at 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until your desired crispness.
